Jordan Smith

Jordan completed his master’s degree in Kinesiology in 2013 from Sonoma State University and his bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia in 2006. He has been in practice as a Clinical Kinesiologist for the past 6 years and in the health & wellness industry for the last 10 years. He is certified in Movement Assessment & Corrective Training (MACT), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and has been a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) since 2007.

Jordan has a passion and expertise for working with the client seeking to accelerate their recovery from injury, develop effective pain management strategies, and return them to their occupation, sport and lifestyle activities. He provides clients guidance to learn and adapt movement based on their unique environmental and psychosocial demands. Jordan remains an active research consultant on new studies using Virtual Reality applications and exercise for pain distraction in individuals with chronic neck pain.

Jordan carries his passion for health & wellness into his personal pursuits that include playing ice hockey, hiking, cycling and snowshoeing.
