The following is a list of our classes. We hope this will assist you in choosing your workouts. For additional information see any of our certified instructors or contact Lori Ennis our Group Fitness Director at 521-2443. Thank you.

Children are Welcome to Classes - see below.

Pilates and Yoga Kids must be 12 years or older and accompanied by a parent.
Spin Kids must be able to fit properly on the bike and accompanied by a parent.
Water Fitness Kids must be 12 years or older and accompanied by a parent.
Lessons Swim lesson, tennis lessons and the use of the climbing wall: Look for flyers announcing programs.

Class Description

Basic Step Plus! In this step class the moves are kept basic and easy to follow. It is a great cardiovascular workout for all levels. We will add in a little extra cardio fun.
Boot Camp A strong high energy cardio workout using the step, weights, bands, and floor aerobics. All levels welcome. Sign up in advance for the Monday night class.
Flexibility in Movement A gentle exercise class that promotes flexibility for all people. Especially designed for those just starting a exercise program, a fit person that need better flexibility anyone with arthritis, autoimmune diseases, recovering from stroke, surgery and cancer.
Rip This is a 30 minute express full body weight training workout.
Ride A spin challenge.
Recover a 30 minute stretch incorporating Yoga and Pilates.
Restore An hour of gentle yoga focused on openness, alignment and relaxation.
Kickbox
This is a high-intensity class that incorporates boxing technique and cardiovascular training. Not intended to be a self-defense class but a fun workout that builds self-confidence and strength. Certified boxing instructors teach these classes.
Light & Easy This is a great class and easy to follow. A favorite among our 50 + members. Class include low impact with music conditioning.

Nordic

Walking

Join us in the local parks for a great cardiovascular workout without the impact. We provide the Nordic Wallking poles. Burn more calories than walking but less impact than running.
Qigong A 5,000 year old mind/body healing art from China, which is the parent form of Tai Chi.
Cardio/Strength Fusion Step moves with core stability challenges. Improve your balance and posture!

Pilates

A unique, mild method of mind/body conditioning. A blend of breath control, abdominal strength exercises, core stability and balance for the whole body.
Spin Circuit Combines the cardiovascular benefits of a traditional spin class with the strength workout of bootcamp.Space is limited. Please sign up at the Service Desk.
Spin A indoor group cycling fitness program. Be ready for a great cardiovascular workout on the most up to date equipment available! This class is appropriate for all levels of fitness. Space is limited. Please sign up at the Service Desk.
Spin & Abs A high energy spin class followed by core strengthening exercises to enhance cycling performance and tone muscle.
Not-So-X-Treme Muscle! The title says it all! This class will focus on the techniques that you will be able to use in future classes, such as BootCamp or X-Treme Muscle.
X-Treme Muscle!

This class is tough! A full body muscle strength and endurance workout using weights, body bars and the step.

1/2 Time Zumba

If you've wanted to try Zumba, but felt it might be too fast, this is the class for you! 1/2 Time Zumba was developed especially for the newcomer who might need a slightly slower pace and more instruction. It's a low impact workout with high octane fun! Come and sweat to latin beats!

Zumba

Ditch the workout and join the party! This one-hour, latin cardio inspired class is so much fun you may forget it's a workout!

Yoga
Gentle Yoga A calming, therapeutic class that uses props to support the body. Class focuses on floor stretching, standing poses, deep breathing and relaxation. Perfect for beginners or those recovering from illness or injury.
Hatha Yoga Emphasis is placed on alignment, core strength, flexibility and balance as well as breath awareness. May include Vinyasa and use of props. Beginners are welcome. Please inform the Instructor if you are new to class, injured and/or pregnant.
Power Yoga A dynamic strength and flexibility building class, which combines vigorous standing poses with deep breathing and core strengthening, followed by floor stretching and relaxation. Prior Yoga experience requested..
Restore Yoga A hatha based practice that includes alignment focused standing postures, seated poses, deep stretching and relaxation. No Yoga experience required. Includes the use of blankets, blocks and yoga straps. Perfect for all levels. Beginners welcome!
Vinyasa Yoga These classes are energetic, meditative and heat building, as you flow from one pose to the next. The sequenced flows offer strength, flexibility and grace to evolve into a peak pose. Variation of postures offered throughout class so that you can adapt to your particular needs. Knowledge of sun salutations recommended.
Yoga & Mediation: Our reqular Hatha Yoga class format, followed by 15 minutes of relaxation, meditation and breathing.

Aquatic Class Descriptions

Water
Fitness

A great cardiovascular and strength-building workout in the environment of the water. Classes will feature a variety of equipment for a total body workout. 

Boot Camp H2O

A challenging cardio workout in the pool. The class incorporates sports drills, kick boxing and interval training to keep you fit. All levels welcome! Modifications will be given.

Masters Swim

An endurance swim workout for all level of swimmers.

 

CLASS POLICIES Legend
  • Please do not wear perfume or cologne to any class.
  • The purpose of a warm up is to prevent injury. For your safety we suggest not coming to class if you are more than 10 minutes late.
  • If you are new to a class please check in with the Instructor 5 minutes before class. They can give you suggestions on how to modify in the beginning for a safe and invigorating experience!
