At The Airport Health Club, our 44,000 square
foot facility encompasses a comprehensive range of facilities
and services,
including a Weight
Gym with 16
Personal Trainers available
to assist you, a Cardiovascular
Theater, a Stretching
and Balance Area, and Specialty
Wellness Programs.
We also offer more than 100 Group Exercise classes per
week, including Spinning, Pilates, yoga and aerobics.
In addition, the club features an extensive Aquatics
Program and an Athletics Program that includes Tennis,
Racquetball, Basketball and Volleyball.
Weight Training
Our spacious, fully equipped Weight
Training Gym features
the best state-of-the-art weight training equipment and
free weights, including Cybex, Free
Motion, Life Fitness,
Paramount, Keiser, Ground
Zero, and Magnum.
Cardiovascular Training
Our Cardiovascular Theatre is the ultimate in fitness
training. You can choose from 80 pieces of the most advanced
computerized cardiovascular equipment in today's industry
including rowing machines, Cybex Arc Trainers, Life Fitness
Treadmills, Cross Trainers, Recumbent and Upright Bikes,
Versa Climbers, Stair Master Steppers, Arm Ergometer
and much more.
Most of these machines feature heart rate readers and/or
work with your heart rate monitor. Our Personal Training
staff is available to help you determine your target
heart rate zones.
Our Cardiovascular Theatre also features cutting edge
audio visual technology for stereo music and television
viewing to enhance your workout.

Stretching/Balance Area
Our Stretching/Balance Area holds all of the state-of-the-art
equipment to improve range of motion, core strength and
balance.
We offer a wide variety of specialized tools and apparatus
such as stability balls, foam rollers, rockers, Dyna
Discs, and BOSU trainers. Our flexibility station includes
the Keiser Stretch Zone, floor stretching mats, straps
and blocks.
Personal Training

ways to get and stay in shape. Personal training is not "one
size fits all" at the Airport Health Club. That's
why at the Airport Health Club has endless opportunities
awaiting you -- from our complimentary Personalized Fitness
Programs, to our cost-effective Team Trainings, to ongoing

Nordic Walking
Nordic Walking has come to the Airport
Health Club!!!! Discover Nordic Walking....
it’s the new Jogging!!! You can get
more out of your cardio with the use of Nordic Walking
Poles! It can increase your heart rate 15% from
regular walking - that can put you in a great aerobic
training zone! You can burn more calories
- Get fit now! You don't need to have
your own poles - the club will provide them in the sessions.

Personalized Fitness Programs
All memberships include a complimentary Personalized
Fitness Program, designed by one of our expert Personal
Trainers. Your trainer will evaluate your health history,
goals and lifestyle to determine the best exercise
programs to meet your needs. Some of our trainers are
certified by the American College of Sports Medicine,
the National
Association of Sports Medicine or National Strength
and Conditioning Association and our fitness programs
are designed according to the standards set by these
authorities.
Private and Semi Private Personal Training
Whether you want to build stamina and/or strength, improve
your shape, increase endurance, boost energy, lose
weight, improve on balance and flexibility or simply
want to just look and feel better, our trainers are
experts in delivering results for our members. Private
training sessions are the gold standard when it comes
to achieving fitness goals and semi private sessions
are perfect for those who enjoy working out with a
partner for extra motivation. Choose from daily, weekly,
biweekly or monthly training programs to suite your
individual needs.
Specialized Team Trainings
Team trainings are great way to meet and train with other
Airport Health Club members who share your interests
and goal. They are also a more cost-effective way to
work with an expert trainer. We offer a multitude of
specialized team training programs to meet your needs.
Programs include women's strength training,
10K and marathon training, weight management, boot camp,
youth
sports, yoga and Pilates fundamentals, post rehabilitation,
cardiac rehabilitation, and the list goes on and on...
Pilates
Personal Training
We have a fully equipped Pilates Studio! We offer personal training with Pilates
certified trainers both one on one and in a team setting. There are Pilates
Mat classes as well on the Group Exercise schedule.
Yoga Personal
Training
We have specialized personal trainers who offer one on one personal training
and team training in Yoga. There are also many Yoga classes on the Group Exercise
schedule.

Fitness Assessments
We have two exercise physiologists on staff to offer
you health and fitness assessments and screenings,
including cardiovascular, endurance, strength, flexibility,
blood pressure and heart rate testing.
We also offer C.H.E.K. fitness and nutrition assessments.
They are very in depth with a C.H.E.K. certified
personal trainer. Nutrition Assessments and Coaching
Our nutritional consultants can help you assess your
diet and develop nutritional strategies to meet your
fitness and wellness goals.
Weight Management
We offer the Weight Watchers Program here at the club
as well as other weight management programs from time
to time. Our nutrition consultants specialize in weight
management.
Specialty Fitness and Wellness Programs
Cancer Wellness Program
The Airport Health Club offers a free 10-week exercise
program for anyone in our community recovering from
cancer. The program is designed to implement the process
of improvement in pain management and function so participants
can better perform activities of daily living through
appropriate exercise activities. Participants see improvements
in posture, breathing, bone strength, endurance, digestion,
increase tolerance to chemotherapy, reduce pain and
fatigue.

John Iraola Memorial Basketball Shootout
on May 16th at the Club will be a benefit event for the
Cancer Wellness Program. All proceeds will go to the
program!
50+ Program
The Airport Club's 50+ Program is a wellness program
for our members over the age of 50. This unique program
gets to the heart of our wellness philosophy of "Active
Living for Well-being." by offering a variety
of programs including monthly hikes, group exercise
classes, group dinners and much, much more.
The Airport Health club has created a fun and social
environment to provide an innovative and supportive environment
that promotes functional living and keeps our 50+ members
informed of the latest health and fitness information
for the aging adult.
Youth Programs
Now more than ever, kid's fitness is a serious focus
for our society. New studies are continually showing
the importance of exercise in the daily lives of children,
adolescents and teenagers.
The Airport Health Club is on the leading edge to help
your youngster stay healthy and fit. Our children and
youth programs are based on the latest in exercise science
and our committed instructors help foster a lifelong
love of exercise and wellness. We offer a multitude of
classes designed especially for children and youth including
yoga, balance and muscle, spin, swimming, tennis, racquetball,
indoor climbing, sports specific coaching, and much more.
